St Davids Country Cottages
We are proud to offer two lovingly converted 5* stone barns perfect for getting away from it all!
Situated just 1 mile from the Cathedral City of St. Davids, with footpath links to the City and Coast Path, the beautifully converted St. Davids Country Cottages offer a rural retreat in the heart of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Located on an award winning working Pedigree Simmental beef farm, complete with on-farm micro-brewery, our barns are finished to an excellent standard with spacious king and twin bedrooms, whirlpool baths and power showers, quality wood burning stoves, wooden Schreiber kitchens and private enclosed lawns.
Both cottages are suitable for people with limited mobility, with ramp access and wide doorways, and we welcome well behaved dogs.

The Farm & Micro-Brewery
Upper Harglodd has been farmed by the Evans family since 1981 and has been home to the award winning herd of Dewisland Pedigree Simmental beef cattle since they were established by Mark and Emma Evans in 2008.
In 2020 Mark and Emma embarked on a new adventure diversifying the farm further and setting up an microbrewery – St Davids Old Farmhouse Brewery! We renovated the old farmhouse opposite the cottages, used as a house during the 1800s, and this is where Mark now brews his award-winning beers and lagers inspired by the outstanding coastal landscape surrounding St Davids, using our own spring water and as many local ingredients as possible including honey from our hives!

Visitors to St. Davids Country Cottages are welcome to have a guided tour of the farm and the microbrewery, and also have open access to the old St. Davids airfield (now a nature reserve) and the Public Rights of Way network that surround the farm. During the spring and early summer we calve around 75 cows on the farm and visitors will be able to see the newly born calves running around in the fields. We also have a small number of cows who calve in the late summer, so don't worry if you can't visit in the spring!
